Horticultural Float Glass supplies
Horticultural float glass, as a typical glass used in glasshouse, has a high light admittance, thus ensuring adequate light in glasshouse and further promoting plant growth. During production, float glass flows from the furnace into a horizontal tin bath at 1000°C. This results in a strip of glass between 1 and 19 millimeters thick. The standard direct light transmission of float glass is about 89%. With the adaptation of the basic materials and possible chemical processes, direct light transmission can even reach a level up to 91%.
